Notes
Tener (to have) is irregular.

- Yo form is tengo (with a g). Stem changes e → ie except in nosotros and vosotros.
- Use it for things you own and for appearance: Tengo un perro. Tiene los ojos verdes.
- Example: ¿Tienes una calculadora? — Sí, tengo dos.
Practice
Complete: "Yo ___ una clase de arte hoy."
The yo form of tener is tengo.
Complete: "Mis primos ___ un gato negro."
Mis primos = ellos: tienen.
Complete: "Nosotros no ___ tarea hoy."
Nosotros has no stem change: tenemos.
