- Solve log equations by rewriting in exponential form; check that arguments are positive.
Practice
Solve $2^x=20$.
Take $\ln$ of both sides.
Solve $\log_3(x+1)=2$.
$x+1=9$.
Solve $e^{2x}=e^6$.
$2x=6$.
