Notes
French dates use the order day, month, year.
- Pattern: le + number + month: le 14 juillet, le 3 mars.
- Use the plain cardinal number (deux, trois, quatre), except for the first of the month: le premier mai (May 1).
- Ask: Quelle est la date ? or Quel jour sommes-nous ? Answer: C'est le 12 octobre.
- Ask a birthday: C'est quand, ton anniversaire ? Answer: Mon anniversaire est le 5 avril.
- Written as numbers, the day comes first: 03/04 is the 3rd of April.
