Vouloir is irregular.

- Use it with a noun: Je veux un gâteau. Or with an infinitive: Nous voulons jouer.
- Polite request: Je voudrais un café, s'il vous plaît. (I would like a coffee.)
- Question: Voulez-vous jouer avec nous ? / Tu veux venir ?
- Negative: Il ne veut pas étudier.
