Free time and sports
- Activities: bailar, cantar, nadar, montar en bicicleta, ver la tele, ir de compras, descansar.
- Sports: el fútbol (soccer), el fútbol americano, el béisbol, el básquetbol, el tenis, el vóleibol. El equipo, el partido, ganar, perder.
- tocar an instrument; jugar a sport or game.
Stem-changing verbs
- The stem vowel changes in every form except nosotros and vosotros (the "boot"). Endings stay regular.

- querer / poder / preferir / pensar + infinitive: Puedo nadar. Pienso jugar.
- jugar al + sport: Juegan al fútbol.

Volver is o → ue: vuelven. Nosotros dormimos, yo puedo and ella pide are the correct forms of the others.
e → i in both él and yo.

Nosotros has no change; ellos changes o → ue.
