Home
- Rooms: la cocina, el baño, la sala, el comedor, el cuarto / dormitorio, el garaje, el jardín.
- Furniture: la cama, el sofá, la mesa, la silla, el armario, la lámpara, el espejo, el refrigerador.
- Chores: hacer la cama, lavar los platos, sacar la basura, limpiar.
Town and location
- Places: el banco, el parque, la tienda, el supermercado, el cine, el museo, la iglesia, el correo, la plaza, la farmacia.
- ir a + place for going (Voy al parque); estar + preposition for location.
- Prepositions: encima de, debajo de, al lado de, delante de, detrás de, enfrente de, cerca de, lejos de, entre, a la derecha / izquierda de. de + el = del.
Reflexive verbs and routine
- Reflexive pronouns me, te, se, nos, os, se go before the conjugated verb or attach to an infinitive: Me levanto. Voy a levantarme.
- Body parts take the article: Me cepillo los dientes.
- Stem changes still apply: me despierto, me visto, me acuesto (but nos acostamos).
- Order events with primero, luego, después, por fin.
