7.5 Reflexive and Stem-Changing Commands
Notes
- Reflexive pronouns attach to affirmative commands and go before negative ones: Lávate las manos. No te laves las manos.
- The accent keeps the stress: levantar → levántate, sentarse → siéntate.
- Stem-changers keep the change in tú / usted / ustedes commands: piensa, no pienses; duerma, duerman; pide.
- Plural (ustedes): Lávense las manos.

Negative commands put the pronoun before the verb: no te levantes.
