Spanish 2 / Unit 1: Review: Present Tense and Daily Routine
1.6 Reading About Routines
Notes
Read in Spanish by finding the subject, the verb and the time words. Reflexive pronouns tell you who does the action.
- Look for sequence words (primero, luego, después, por último).
- Match each verb to its subject before choosing an answer.
- Use cognates (similar-looking words) to guess meaning: importante, familia, desayuno.
- Example: Rosa se despierta a las seis y media. Después de ducharse, desayuna con su familia. Rosa showers before she eats breakfast.
