The patterns match avoir verbs: ne ... pas surrounds the conjugated auxiliary (and the reflexive pronoun).
- Je ne suis pas allé au cinéma. Elle n'est jamais revenue.
- Reflexive negative: Je ne me suis pas levé(e). Ils ne se sont pas couchés.
- Questions: Est-ce que tu es parti? Es-tu arrivé? Pourquoi est-elle restée? Quand vous êtes-vous réveillés?
- Narrate in order with d'abord, ensuite, puis, enfin.
- Example: D'abord, nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel. Ensuite, nous sommes sortis. Enfin, nous nous sommes couchés.
